This Plan describes the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet’s (DPMC) purpose, medium-term strategy, and how we plan to organise our resources over the next four financial years, to 2020/21.
It also sets out how we will deliver on government priorities, and replaces our Strategic Intentions 2016 – 2020.
Please note that this Plan was approved as final in November 2016. Accordingly, and in line with Treasury guidance, the Plan has not been updated beyond this point other than a section outlining DPMC’s strategic risks.
Where information has been withheld, reference to the applicable section(s) of the Official Information Act has been made, as listed below:
9(2)(g)(i)- to maintain the effective conduct of public affairs through the free and frank expression of opinion
9(2)(j) - to enable the Crown to negotiate without disadvantage or prejudice.
In preparing this Plan for release, DPMC has considered the public interest considerations in section 9(1) of the Official Information Act.
