The report on the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the terrorist attack on Christchurch masjidain, Ko to tatou kainga tenei, has 44 recommendations that cover a wide scope of work across 19 government agencies. The Response Steering Group (RSG) was set up to support the coordination and delivery of the work programme for the Government’s response to the RCOI.
RSG includes representatives from all the agencies who are leading work on the response. The group meets regularly to share updates on how agencies are progressing and helps to ensure that the Government’s response is coordinated and on-track.
RSG is chaired by the Director, National Security Policy Directorate, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. The Terms of Reference for RSG are outlined below.
