Cabinet Office circulars which have been superseded or cancelled over the last 20 years are listed here. They are available from the Cabinet Office on request - please quote the reference number and title. Older circulars are also available from the Cabinet Office.

Please note that 'superseded' can mean that a circular has been replaced by an updated version (such as circulars relating to the Legislation Programme), or that the matters contained in that circular have become business as usual after a reasonable period of time, and that a circular is no longer required to communicate that information. In this latter case, information about the matters contained in the superseded circular can be found on the relevant agency website. In addition, agency websites will also often include the proactively released minutes of the Cabinet decisions that relate to that circular, where these have been published following the introduction of the proactive release policy in 2018.

Current Cabinet Office Circulars are available in the Publications section.
