The Health and Disability Review Transition Unit (Transition Unit) is a business unit of DPMC. The unit was established by Cabinet in September 2020 following consideration of the Health and Disability System Review / Hauora Manaaki Ki Aotearoa Whānui (the Review), and an agreement to the case for reform.
The purpose of the Unit is to ensure awareness of whether selected, priority projects are on track to deliver the intended benefits within the intended timeframes – and, if not, to work with the responsible minister and agency to identify what needs to
