Description:
Responsibilities include supporting the system of local government and the central government and local government relationship, oversight of the Local Government Commission, acting as the territorial authority for the 11 islands that are not part of a local authority’s district and the harbour authority for Lake Taupō, the administration of the Rates Rebate Scheme, and leadership of the three waters work programme.
