As part of its work on Commitment 5 of the Open Government Partnership 2018−2021 National Action Plan, the Policy Project carried out a survey of policy advisors, community representatives and their networks, and engagement specialists. The purpose of the survey was to get an understanding of the participants’ experiences of engagement, and insights into what would improve their participation in policy making. This summary includes feedback on how the information derived from the survey was used, and the extent to which some of the insights and views informed the final versions of the engagement guidance and tools.
