Policy Skills Framework: Co-design workshop – 24 June 2015

In this workshop we took the first steps towards co-creating a policy specific skills framework by describing the knowledge and skills of the modern policy professional. The workshop brought together two Policy Project cross-agency working groups; the policy quality working group (focussed on the future policy toolkit) and the people capability insights group (focussed on foundation policy skills, knowledge and training). The aim of the workshop was to solve the problem of what comes first: the toolbox (the what) or the skills and training (the who and the how)?
