In addition to completing the survey (either the survey for children and young people or the survey for adults) or providing a formal submission, the engagement toolkit provides another way to have a say on the development of the first Child and Youth Wellbeing Strategy.
This toolkit is designed for community groups, whānau and families to share views on the major priorities for improving child and youth wellbeing and which specific activities are needed.
The toolkit will help facilitate a group conversation around key questions that are important to the development of the first Child and Youth Wellbeing Strategy. The toolkit contains a recording template for conversations to be written up and sent back to DPMC.
In addition to the toolkit for use with adults, the Office of the Children's Commissioner has a toolkit for use with children.
